Similar like x4 handles the same topic. Small ships without cargo drones pick the items up themselves. Big ships with drones let the drones swarm out and carry the stuff back to the ship. -
QoL - Show faction colors instead of relations

Why not both? Maybe add a small line under or on the left side of the name that indicates the relations with color.
