So instead of offline mining I can just put my ship in a system with a small fleet of miners and deplete the whole system. There is literally no difference. A game with finite amount of resources needs stuff like this.

How so? If a player has a large fleet I would assume they would want offline mining operations. I'm talking about on multiplayer by the way.

Will it be a thing in the future for ships to mine while you are offline?

If enough players request a higher player count would it be considered?

As the title says I was attacking a salesman ship to aid a faction that was also attacking it. Instead of gaining rep with them they hated me even though they were attacking it too. Is this intended or is this a bug?

I was just wondering if the game will support a lot of players later down the line. I think it would be really cool to have lots of players playing on the same server.

It has to be a ship of your design, it can be inspired by other ships but it can't be an exact copy. Also it must be useable. Thanks for asking that I'll add it to the op.

Avorion Ship Building Contest Hello all! I'm new to this community! I really love this game and the whole concept behind it. As you can see I backed the game. I was looking through the ship screen shot thread and an idea came to me. Why not hold a contest for the best looking ship? Well here I am to do that! To enter it's simple. All you have to do is make a ship! There are some rules though. Rules Do not use another person's ship! Do not use a randomly generated ship! It has to be a ship of your design, it can be inspired by other ships but it can't be an exact copy. Please post a video or image of your ship! You must submit your ship file to enter. Try to use a file sharing site like mediafire or dropbox! The ship must be useable! Prizes There can't be a contest without prizes! The winner will be receiving a $50 Steam gift-card code. From all the entries, the devs will choose ships they like and work them into the trailer of the final game. You could in theory make last place and your ship might still get featured in the trailer, so all submissions matter. Made a mining ship. It would be cool to have realistic spinning rings as the crew quarters, but this is the best I got.

Played on the server a bunch earlier. I jumped into a system and a pirate fleet and alien fleet jumped in at the same time. I'm not sure if the system survived because I ran out of there so quickly.
