So the FTL approach? ;D but really, thanks for these tips. I'm going to start playing around with the game today and this is a helpful thread for me.

Looks like they're (deservedly) taking the weekend, but then it sounded like they were pushing to get the story all worked out, among getting the final product ready for Steam (api, beta release, etc.). So a general push towards completion is what I imagine at the moment, but one of the devs would know best than speculation.
