Nice. Idea, Maybe use the wiki section for mods list? http://avorion.gamepedia.com/Mods_List Would allow anyone to come along and maintain/update it so more then one person can help. Just leave a stickied post here in the mods forums that links to it.

As far as I can tell from comparing this to the original, the mod doesn't appear to add server side changes so it should work fine client side only.

I have tried numerous times to change this. Sadly haven't figured it out yet. In carriercraftorders.lua adding this should allow you to change your icon. function getIcon(seed, rarity) return "data/textures/icons/fighter.png" end

Similar to your issue all uncommon turrets that can be made at the factory decrease their damage instead of increase with the addition of parts and remove increase the damage. This is on a linux server. Avorion Client Beta 0.10.2 r7448
