  1. What you are referring to are not the changes I referred to, sorry for not making that clearer. The dev was testing out directional thrusters yesterday (those would go wonderfully in ship design and are in the direction they are pointing much stronger than the current version on the beta branch). As he is pretty quick with those things I think you will be able to see what I mean very soon.

  4. Hey hey, keep things civil Mr Nova. We sometimes overlook something right in front of our noses, happens to the best of us. @Iyravega: The turrets should keep firing even while turning, only exception is when they would hit your own ship, low firing rate or are overheated.
  5. This sounds like good advise, and we will consider it. A few points are already there and I will list them below.. 3. point: Thrusters are still in progress and not finished, there will be directional thrusters, that might just help that point. 4. Yes, that is a dream. But you need to have the hardware and even more importantly the stability to make bigger servers possible. The devs are working on that. 5. Those changes are planned for the upcoming alliances update!

  8. The thrusters are currently reworked, the changes are tested and being tweaked at the moment so try it out, as soon as the update goes live! Maybe it will be more to your liking :)
  9. Can you please rerun a server that this happened on with the additional command line option "-t all" and post the resulting logs and galaxy here? The problem is caused by some corrupted file and that may tell us which one it is.

  14. This is already possible, just select multiple blocks and while pressing Ctrl select the block you don't want in that selection.
  15. Yes, with complex structures the game is sometimes a bit slow in deleting them. The devs are aware of it.
  16. Do you have a cursor in the menus? If not than it is a bug. Ingame there is no cursor until you press SHIFT, as the mouse movement is used to turn your camera.
  17. This is actually not a bug. In brackets you see that you have 1+4 armed slots and 5+0 unarmed slots. That basically means you have one unarmed slot that can also be used for a armed weapon. When you build 4 turrets then the fifth will occupy that arbitrary slot and therefore seemingly consume two slots.
  18. Some of the bosses can spawn more than once, as the galaxies allow more players and everyone should get the change to kill that boss. If it happened while jumping to the same sector that's unlucky. There is no grouping up as co-op as of now, so things like that can happen. Both bosses should however drop seperate loot for every player shooting it.
  19. Yes the lighting is a bit strong combined with the bloom. It will be toned soon. Until then try disabling bloom while flying vessels with large engines/thrusters.
  20. You do not loose all your equipped stuff, you just drop it. It will not despawn until you come and pick it up again. So remember where you died and you can pick everything back up! The sorting thing comes up a lot, many people wish for it so it will come one way or another :)
  21. Thanks for reporting. Could you send the client and server logs to support@avorion.net so that we could look into what causes this?
