  1. You might have to much stuff different stuff on your ship. If you try the beta it might work, but that is just a guess. Try to build a second ship and transfer some of the cargo you want to sell to it. Then use the other ship to sell the stuff. That could be a workaround for now.
  2. The AI should respawn in the circle around the center where it usually spawns as well. Just keep looking in the empty sectors in a distance of 295 to 315 around the center. If you leave a sector where the AI spawned it will despawn, therefore a save would have basically no value for you.
  3. Finally found the other thread again. Merged both and moved to the bugs section :)
  4. For you information: There is a thread on building only at shipyards here with a reply from koonschi here.
  5. Moved to the bugs forum in the beta section, although this might not have been related to the current beta.
  6. You could use something like Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc and upload the galaxy from the %Appdata%/Avorion/galaxies/ folder. Then you should be able to just download them on the other PC and put them back under the same path. Be advised that savefiles can get quite big. Thus, if your connection is not very fast, it might take a long time to upload. Then you should use a USB-Stick or similar.
  7. Pastebin ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Hab jetzt auch bei dem sticky in diesem Forum die Info hinzugefügt. Bei den Bugs war das schon länger mit drin.
  8. Can you post the logs of the server? Those could give a first hint at what's going wrong.

    No docks

Have you tried to play the beta version? Docks should regrow over time there. But keep in mind that the beta is experimental, especially the flight mechanics.
  10. If you have the logs then please post them. That will make the process of finding the issue easier for the devs. The server logs would be the most important ones in this case, but it probably won't hurt if you also post the client logs. You can find instructions on how to get the logs in the sticky post at the top.
  11. When you start a new galaxy there is a option to choose the difficulty. Higher settings will mostly affect the damage dealt by enemies. On normal settings the damage you receive is scaled down a lot. If you want to change the difficulty for your current galaxy you will have to edit the files. Edit: Also moved to the general gameplay discussion forum, as it was not directly related to the beta branch.
  12. I have moved this thread to the Suggestions forum, as it is more of a suggestion thread by now :)
  13. When in doubt, it is probably the best to post both :) You will find more info in the stickied thread in this forum. That being said, I think the clientlogs are the relevant ones in this case. Also, a screenshot, with both monitors, that shows the effect is surely helpful.
  14. Merged thread with a similar one.
  15. If I remember correctly, it is a result of the history of the Windows operating system. Before Vista(?) there was no My Games folder and thus a lot of games, especially AAA ones, have been polluting the My Documents folder. In general, they all do whatever they want and don't care about specifications. But, it does appear that Appdata is the place specified by Microsoft to store data. Per the .Net documentation: Source Another discussion on this topic: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1507923/does-microsoft-have-a-best-practices-document-regarding-the-storage-of-app-data
  16. You could use the tool to select blocks by drawing a frame around them. Alternatively, if you click on the merge block button, it should try to merge everything as good as possible. If the thrusters are connected, you would end up with a lot less blocks. Edit: I have fixed your image to show up in the post :)
  17. Seems like a good idea. I have done that now.
  18. I guess these things will be addressed when the Steam workshop is supported.
  19. I have merged the thread with a similar one, at least that is what I understood from that post :)
  20. Moved to the bugs section. It would be probably very helpful if you could add the logs. If they are too long, its probably best to get the beginning of the log and a part starting a bit before the error and includes the error itself.
  21. If its a bad sector you could make a backup of the galaxy and then delete the sector(s) with the most recent time of change. Then check if its working again. But definitely make sure that you have a backup.
  22. Try out the beta branch. There is a scrollbar in the most recent one.
  23. Its mainly adding up in the Appdata folder, as galaxies with a lot of explored sectors will create very big save files.
  24. As a quick-fix for now, you can use the Out of sector production mod.
