Oh! Thanks, that makes a lot of sense actually.

So I accidentally abandoned the Bottan mission line by some absent-minded clicking when it wouldn't progress once I got all the stuff for "a friend" to figure out if I was missing a step... Is there anyway to get back on the quest? I can still talk to the NPC and agree to help him but nothing happens :/ Meanwhile I have restarted the Operation Exodus line (after having completed it) by finding another beacon and it's sending me across the exact same systems as the first time...
