  1. I take it the exception means there's no hope for recovering my deleted index file Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| Enabled Traces: Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| Avorion server 0x3840d70 running on Windows 8.1+ starting up in "C:\Users\Herbert\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\galaxies\defaultgalaxy" Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| CPU: GenuineIntel 8 Cores Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| name: Candyapplecorn's Server Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| seed: yaWXqS2TWa Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| port: 27000 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| max online players: 10 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| save interval: 600 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| broadcast interval: 5 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| max loaded sector time: 300 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| weak update: yes Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| worker threads: 7 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| generator threads: 2 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| difficulty: Normal Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| infiniteResources: no Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| collision: 1 Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| access list: Blacklist Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| public: no Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| authentication: no Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| listed: no Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| steam networking: yes Mon Feb 27 11:43:44 2017| server will exit once all admins logged out. 2. update: I updated my game to beta branch and was finally successfully able to load my previously inaccessible galaxy - as a new player in a mining drone. I checked my Appdata folder and sure enough there's a new player.dat file (see attached pic). Is there a way to force the game to attempt to log in as player_35, not player_1?
  3. I haven't been able to access my save with 90 hours played since last week, and read in another thread that updating to beta branch might make my world accessible again. It did, but I loaded into my previously inaccessible galaxy as a new player in a mining drone. Weird part is that I loaded into my creative galaxy just fine (loaded into it before updating to beta fine too). Or rather, every time I load (before & after beta update) into that creative galaxy, I'm always in the same ship, even though I leave that galaxy in different ships every time.
  4. Are you saying that if those of us who have lost our singleplayer saves to internal server errors upgrade our games to the beta branch, we might be able to access our galaxies again?
  5. My salvage turrets from the factory are supposed to have 1.2 km range but in practice they have 0.5 km range
  6. @h0yer, did you ever solve your problem? My game also won't go beyond the loading screen for my SP galaxy, but loads other galaxies.
  7. Here are the client and server logs after adding the -t all launch option. If I was on Linux I'd make a copy with the GL DBG grep -v'd. Edit: I couldn't attach the clientlog as it exceeded 192 kb, so I used pastebin instead: http://pastebin.com/nZmQKuiv serverlog_Fri_Feb_24_17-09-21_2017.txt
  8. I've got 89 hours played, but can't play anymore. My singleplayer galaxy fails to load every time now, and I always get this error message: "An internal server error occurred. Your connection will be terminated. Server version: Beta 0.10.2 r7448" I don't understand why my singeplayer galaxy fails to load. If I try to load my other singleplayer galaxy (creative one), it works. But not my 80+ hours played galaxy. The first two logfiles are from my singleplayer galaxy that won't load and gives me pic related error every time. The last logfile is from my creative galaxy that _does_ work; I'm attaching it for reference clientlog_Fri_Feb_24_00-13-56_2017.txt serverlog_Fri_Feb_24_00-14-02_2017.txt serverlog_Fri_Feb_24_00-03-16_2017.txt
