I'll keep lookout. That's what a lot of us need...those of us that are completely inept at building anything. Ships that would be easy to add on or easy to modify as we travel.

I managed to find these sphere and wing shapes: http://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php?topic=1689.0 But that is about it. Anyone else have some good finds? OR any ships/creations that are easy to mod? I've downloaded several ships but none really have a layout I can change without destroying the aesthetic of the ship. Should I start a new thread? I think this falls within this topic somewhat as it's sharing and such. :)

So....as someone that can't build anything that looks good any ETA on these modular projects? Also are there any other projects out there like the ones mentioned here? I would love to do some building but I'm about as artistic as a rock.

I wanted to drop in and reply because of the quoted line. I have had this happen on other games...quite a few of them. Generally what I have found fixes this is to make sure you are in FULL SCREEN when playing. If that doesn't kick your card up to max you might try some of the other modes as well. Now if NONE of that works and you have an EVGA card (or use EVGA Precision but this might only work for EVGA cards) you can kick on kboost mode. This will force your card to run at max all the time. I actually run this mode 24/7 just because I got sick of issue you are describing. Another option...I think with the 980ti you can flash a custom bios that will lock the clocks as well. I only recommend doing this if you #1 know what you are doing and #2 don't care if you brick your card. So don't flash anything unless you are a do it yourself crazy type like myself. :) I would wager the game is sluggish for this exact reason...your GPU thinks it's showing you a desktop and isn't kicking in gear.
