i do the same thing as he dos but if there is a way to make the texture stop scaling at som point i would not need to put na extre thin layer of small thrusters over a a large one would be nice

Just a suggestion take a truster pancakes combined Break force lets say a pancake that is 2x2x2 and amply the same B-forc to a breaking thruster of the same size. No one will do pancakes anymore all hapy you included and we go on.
