God damn if I owned the game id hire you as a ship designer, Love the ships! wish fleet mechanics worked better so i could have more then 1 guy following me without it getting bugged out and they stop following. Currently using your Thanatos and Hermes going to salvage more materials for one of your big guys
  2. First of all I would like to say I love this game! and i know there is a lot of stuff to come but there is a lot to learn from EVE Online so here is just a few things. The possibility is high that these have already been suggested and or in the process for future updates. Differentiation between Turrets and Fighters/Drones Right now I feel fighters are worthless at this point in time due too their AI and Movement speed and many other things here are a few bullet points. +Making a choice between Fighters or Turrets Note: I'm not saying prevent turret users from access to fighters, but make fighters far superior to non focused fighter ships. +Fighter Chips[reduces turret points] (Fighter limit, Speed, Damage, Targeting Range, Mining/Salvaging, Shield or Hull repair amounts) -Remove the ship sizes of Fighters (Too complicated) instead just have a basic limit Note: i.e. A Turret ship can house 5 Fighters and a Fighter ship can house 20 (to make up for the lack of turrets) Weapons Chips for Weapons Missiles should always be seekers (with no penalty) Missiles velocity needs to be way faster Missiles should be able to be out ran (if not chipped for missiles) Railguns/Missiles need to be the longest ranged weapon (base, non chipped) Misc Suggestions Increase interaction distance range to 1 (currently around .25) Increase docking range to .5 (currently 0) Increase Mining/Salvaging range to 2 (currently around 1 or less) Allow ship orders from the map (To have your ships catch up or jump their way to your location) Allow for random spawn locations/distance from Gates and Worm Holes Regeneration of Ore Make Player mined ore more impactful (value of ore, could give players a reason to travel back to the starter zone for lower tier ore)(Muliplayer) Decrease salvaging or increase mining (Salvaging generates 1000% more ore then mining) Note: I can gather ore from wrecks and wrecked stations so much faster that mining isn't even an option Possible Bugs AI Escort ships stop at Gates/Worm Holes (only yourself and 1 other ship will enter, others will stop following) Entered a Worm hole to be met with a clump of 20 asteroids in the spawn area (almost died haha!) Possible Alliance update material Information is a bit limited at the moment. Maybe 2 or more uncontrollable factions, for those not interested in creating your own Note: You can join a main faction for whatever reason and help with complete domination of the map 1 or 2 damage immune trading centers with high security where all factions go Shipyards with 3 or more player made ships (Player owned system) [New building] Freight Yard (Storage/Freighter building/Management) (Player owned system) Note: I'm not sure how player driven you want space trucking to be. Diplomacy (Establishing trade materials, Military assistance, Intel)(Player owned systems) Taking control over AI sectors (by force or diplomacy) ^ Wont allow me to delete >:(
