  1. In my experience it's server only. but you have to claim a new asteroid if you added a new mine, on old one's it won't show up. Worked great with a restart on a claimed asteriod I hadn't put a mine on yet.
  2. Awesome, thanks. I will try it. It has a docking port, but I did start a platform I can put cargo bays on. I even gave it a captain hoping that will help. EDIT: it starting mining instantly. I am guessing it doesn't need a Captain? Or does it so it can defend it self. I put a gun on it but will do more if it works.
  3. How do I get my Nobel Asteriod Mine to mine? I assume I am missing something simple and search didn't reveal anything. Does it need miners like a ship? If so how many? I gave it a captain and some mechanics and engineers.

We will most likely never see a difficulty boost of the 500% that I have asked that would make the game much more enjoyable for large ships, however I think the dev's can clearly see the case I am making and understand that the game is completely broken in some arias now. An adaptive system would be a nice solution but a lot of work to implement, it can also feel unnatural and unrealistic if not done well. The dev's have asked to give feedback on weather we think the game is to easy so hear I am saying it is. At the moment I will take any solution to make the game harder, I don't mind what it is. Content that will provide additional challenges has been mentioned such as more bosses, but who knows how tough they will be... I am a game developer myself and I take balance VERY seriously, I'm experienced with balancing how hard the enemy is and it can be a tough job finding the sweet spot, especially in a game like this where there is so much to take into equation. What if they came up with a way to limit the size of the ship. Or just reduced the max slots from much less then 15 so that kind of dps isn't possible. You can balance damage too ways. increase npc's or nerf players. Players always scream when being nerfed but the game isn't released yet.
  5. Trade is a bit unbalanced in my opinion. Was player on a server of three of us. Things were going fine until someone noticed trades like you just posted. In 2 days he had 700 million credits. Everything else seemed pointless after that. TO make it worse, once you do the trades there is no more money to be made because nothing works when you leave the system. Before we found out how to make hundreds of millions on trade in a few hours, it was more fun doing missions and such to make money. We since started over and are running the out of sector production mod. Something like that mod really needs to be incorporated into the game. It doesn't add much load because nothing still happens when you are gone but when you return it catches up. A slick way to reduce load and have working factories.
  6. IF making the modification to multiplayer mode, do you do this only on the server or do all the clients need the edit also?
