In the stable version, the satellites and the boss both DO RESPAWN :)

FIRST: There is an ABANDON box to click. :-X And second, the solution to finish the quest if standings with the Bottlan Smuggler is gone bad is there: https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,474.msg2199.html#msg2199 I read all I could on the forum for about 20 mins and couldn't find this particular one on the topic. I took the smuggler's quest close to the border, and Murphy's law always applying, it made a delivery inside the core. Figured I would go further away and retake it. Problem 1: The new smugglers don't answer (less than 60 minutes have passed). I lost patience. Problem 2: A couple of smugglers have died due to their incompentence. Hence my standing is really red towards Bottan now. Problem 3: I want to go to the center still. Questions: Will wait 60 minutes in game work? Is my red standing going to affect this solution if it works? And eventually, I'm playing singleplayer and I wouldn't mind an out game solution to this? And wanted to tell this so the dev know killing the smugglers due to deliveries inside the core makes totally sense ;) but it shouldn't ruin the game totally. Or should it, cold universe?
