  1. Hello. Since the last Update i have an issue. Whenever i come to the "inner centre" of the Galaxy (Kem Shaag), i recieve an servercrash. I tried it with my Playerfile from before the Update and also with a new one. I get the same result everytime .. :/
  2. Well.. and for WHAT do you need a Battlecruiser then, when you cannot control all turrets a time? For what does a Battlecruiser have such a high amount of Specialists (Engineers, Gunners etc..) on board? It's unrealistic and stupid to nerf that. Fighterpilots shouldn't be able to use more then 1 turret a time then, to keep it fair and balanced and max. 3 for a light cruiser. As you see .. All these ideas are stupid. If something like this would come into the game (You could use a Mod for you, that would be ok for me..), i would definetly quit playing it. I wan't my freedom and i wan't as much weapons as possible. For that i built a heavy Battlecruiser. Not, for being harmless cause of Turrets they cannot fire cause of ... hm.. cause of why? I have more then enough gunners on Board .. Just a big NO to this Idea. EDIT: Btw .. if you watched Stargate .. The Daedalus can also turn VERY quickly, same as the Gua'uld Ships, even capital ones. ;) And they also have a Crapload of firepower.
  3. Aaaah! Thank you! :) But why do i need to force my Players to install something? V1.1 (when i read his Patchnotes) was without a Clientside-Part. :/
  4. You cannot start the server.sh via selecting the home directory. When you change to the avorion user before you do anything else via sudo, you need to do this: script /dev/null Go into your directory where your server.sh is located. Default: cd /home/avorion/Steam/steamapps/common/AvorionServer Then just start your server.sh .. screen ./server.sh The missing directories should get created then. Btw .. it's better to start the server for the first time, before you try to edit something. And after everything is created, use your FTP Server (i recommend Bitvise SSH Client) to download the files you wan't to edit and stop the server. Then you can edit them on your desktop with Notepad++. After you have finished that, push them back to your server and start it. Safest way ..
  5. Hello. Is it possible to lock the Faction in one System? I wan't to have one of the Factions in only ONE System. There the faction should build all relevant, own stations like Shipyard, Upgradefacility, Research-Station ... and all you need. Is it possible somehow? EDIT: oh .. and i wan't to make it friendly to Players of my choice. :p My Plan: The Faction should be something like a housekeeper. They should be friendly to Mod and Admins, but enemie to all else Players. For that i already had modified the script. faction.initialRelations = -100000 faction.initialRelationsToPlayer = -100000 faction.staticRelationsToPlayers = true
  6. For what does a good Serveradmin doing backups :p? I will do it on my Server only. Not in Singleplayer, or something. Singleplayersaves will not getting imported to our Serverfiles. :D
  7. Hi. How can i make Players invincible while they're offline? :/ I cannot find something matching what i wan't. Personaly i prefer to despawn Players from the Universe while they're offline .. but to have them invincible is a good thing between both, i think.
  8. Like the topic says.. It would be great to be able to drop Equipment like guns and Upgrades via Drag&Drop, or to trade with Friends(Or other Players :p) (With and without money for traded things).
  9. Hey. Me and surely alot Players have the wish to display colors in Chat. It would be great to have custom Chatcolors for Playerranks(And also custom Players) and Chatmessages defined in a Document. It would also be great to be able to style Chatmessages, for example to make them fat and colorized. :)
  10. Hello. It would be great if we would be able to link Weapons, Upgrades, Freight etc .. in Chat. The Items should also gets colored by their Rareness. So legendary Items should be displayed in their lila color in chat. They should be clickable like a link in the chat so other Players can take a look to them. Example: <Player> Look at This! [Mighty Trololol OP Gun] Isn't it great? (There is actually no matching color available in the Forum... ::))
  11. It's basicaly to edit the Inventory and add specific stuff to it, or remove something that way. There are alot things i would be able to do then. :) Like equiping Serveradmins (Got an own Server) and Stuff.
  12. Hello. /crew fill seems buggy. After i had used it, i wasn't able to user Jumpgates anymore. :o I just fly through them, like they're not there..

    Hello. I have just installed a few new commands. But now my Server wan't start when i give some rights to the admingroup. I wan't some Commands only for Administrators. :/ What is wrong here? :/
