  1. Are you using beta? idk it has not worked for me recent as well using beta I thought I replaced files etc since but never really looked.
  2. 2 Simple reasons: 1) Consider adding ones you like into the base game overtime with the ability to access the core and such you might be able to make it better and I think most modders here are only modding to better the game not to copyright ideas. 2) Maybe checking out what they do and how their doing it and consider adding new API hooks in for things that might have some basic limitations to offer more features to these modders overtime.
  3. Everything here working well. I really just hope upgrades / higher costs for diff mats happens soon only because I'm now getting them in my LP Series. I found 3 in 1 system a bit crazy but that is just pure luck.

  5. I'm 99% sure his name had always been the same since he was also always the same name on discord. Our issue happen cuz we nuked his player id dat and I assume it's index elsewhere but rather create same index number it makes him a new one but does not overide the old index so he creates a new one each time the server reboots I assume saves fine in temp memory this why he is fine till server reboot.
  6. I just want to say it will take people a bit to get use to the new methods. Only because they been getting use to the new way so it's going be hard on them. That being said I always disliked the thrusters but that is not my fault it's the fault of getting it so easy in so many games. If it takes to long to stop you normally just put actual engine at the front of the ship as well. That being said it would be nice if there was some sort of 3d radar type setup somewhere on the screen so when you flip your ship you can actually target the direct momentum point and cancel out the current velocity. Does not even need to be say a 3d little rader map it could be a simple new icon that shows up on the screen slightly faded a circle if you like to allow you to cancel it out. Maybe simple way to turn it off or on or bring it up when in need.
  7. Pretty much when you have other windows behind the Build Inventory and click an icon for example like a turret you end up crying inside due to the fact it clicks through the GUI. Video Example: Extra Suggestion: Add Both Sorting Columns that is offered on the player inventory to the Build Inventory rather then just the 1 plus less features.
  8. Working just fine here. Have you tried rebooting the game? Both camera and focus works and of course camera movement on both.
  9. I think this was another issue not related to yours. I think yours is a indexing issue that will not updating your id to a new one or recreating a dat file using your index id.
  10. Thanks for letting me omit the sectors. You saved me about 50 gigs ;) I left the latest logs and such as well. From what I can tell idk how the index file works but I assume it's keeping his original one. I kept his original dat file in the root. http://stonelegion.com/kane/galaxy.zip
  11. So this is an annoying but with the user /Yerts. His original Dat was player_293.dat. Now when we reboot and he logs back onto the server his id is just a new one each time. Now hes up to 1608 if I reboot he be like 1609 etc etc. Pretty much his player file will not save correctly ever again. His dat files of all these newly created saves also keep existing. So does index store player id? if so I assume it says can't find playerid whatever was before create a new one but does not update the database to his new ID. = Broken on reboots.
  12. Very true but stable has not been very stable for most of our players either so these days we don't mind. We have so many people who are stuck and can't login to we deleted their player profile and now each time it reboots they get a random new ID lol. So beta these days is normally a good thing not a bad thing :P
  13. Noticed some changes for lua in beta idk if this will help this mod at all: "Implemented a sector.lua script that is always present and that does some sector-static initialization"
  14. You need to use the Beta Branch to play after today's update. it sadly does not warn the user so if you are loading forever USE BETA BRANCH :)
  15. With your latest change I think was to the sector.lua if a player does not use the beta branch then their screwed. Sadly people trying to connect and hanging because of this and not much i can do unless they come to me directly. So please add or bump the checking for this version thanks.

  18. Yeah I would not know the best method tbh. I just wish I could easily tell if a weapon sucks bad enough for power usage. I really need to pay attention I guess to my own ships power storage etc. I always just add it to my ship and like NOOOOPE lol and remove it.
