Just an update for anyone searching for this in the future, here's what Nitrado support told us: Thank you for your support request. Unfortunately, Avorion can only be connected to in Germany. This is because the game is port locked to Germany. This is something that must be fixed by the developers and not Nitrado. We can offer to move your game server for you to Germany so that you will be able to play avorion.

Hello all, We have a game host on Nitrado.net, and thought we'd try to set it up for Avorion. The game seems to have installed OK and the server starts, but in the server.ini it's setting the port to 11200, and when we try to join, the connection times out. Changing the port listed in server.ini just gets overwritten back to 11200 when we start the server. If I manually add the server to the in-game Join Via IP list with our server address 85.190.159.83:11200 the server shows unavailable, however if I add the server with the queryport 11203 it will show as online 0/10. When I click Join it requests our password, and goes to the Connecting screen, but eventually times out with "Connection to 85/190.159.83:11200 failed: Server Unreachable" So it looks like the query port is pointing correctly at 11200, but that's as far as we get. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks, Goodgulf
