    iam trying to change my save's galaxy .. and it works but then the map remains, i wanna reset the map

     

    Sorry. Because they use compressed saves now, I can't find a way to edit the files.

  2. So, I tried here some changes in the script.

    I put them to pick 10 cargos and delivery 10, but, instead, they pick 10 and delivery 5.

    I have one Ice Factory and one Corn Farm.

    The Corn Farm is fetching water from Ice Factory.

    They pick 10 waters (removed 10 waters show on the screen), but when they return to Corn Farm, they delivery only 5 Waters.

  3. Your Mod has several problems regarding this part:

    ... and the cargo fighters carry 2 cargos instead of 1.

    • The script buys 1 good from a station, but puts 2 into the cargoshuttle. Basically cheating half the goods in.
    • If the cargo shuttle is supposed to carry goods with a goodsize > 2.5 (Ammunition L, Drill, Drone, ...)m then only one will be loaded and only one can be sold, but two get removed from the cargo bay.
    • If only 1 piece of cargo is available at the station where it gets grabbed, still 2 will be put into the shuttle anyway.

    Maybe more, that I've either overlooked or are implicated by these

     

    I will look after it.

    I'm just looking all those scripts to see how to work with them.

    This is my firts mod, so, thanks for warn me.

     

    Edit: Just put it back to 1 instead of 2, until I figure out how to to do this work right.

  4. When using Research Station or trying to find specified Turret, somethimes the game crash.

  5. I got crashs when enter in build mode and access inventory (to install turrets).

    Most of time, the game run fine, even in multiplayer, but, the same issue happen to my brother when we play together.

     

    EDIT (12/04/18): When I type something to filter all turrets and left the box with the text and exit build mode, it crashs when I enter it again. The game don't close. Instead, it stop all server actions, but game still running. ALT+F4 to exit and see the error message from windows.

     

    EDIT 2 (13/04/18): I have noticed that when I put a turret in the toolbox, install the turret, exit build mode, and enter it again, sometimes a random item apear in the same place I placed the turret, and so, the game crashes.

  6. Well, v0.16.1 is the last version that my game runs.

    After that version, the game freezes at loading start screen.

    When try to start again, it shows a message about graphics card, lowering the graphics configs.

    So, I run the v0.16.1, and it runs.

    Any other above that version wont run.

     

    Btw: the game runs fine (playable with low graphics).

  7. What I am curious about these files is if it would be possible to find the locations of the players/alliance ships so that lost ships might be found back after a server crash.

     

    With a hexadecimal editor, it's easy to find. You need the player name and the location will be near the name.

     

    I'm still need the codes to umcompress, edit and compress it again.

  8. Hi. Long time ago, I created an editor for Avorion save files.

    But, with the game updates, they changed the way that the game save files, and so, I need to change some parts of the editor.

    I'm work on it right now, and soon I will post it in the MOD section.

  9. Hi. I have made an editor to work with Avorion player_1.dat files.

    It will load the saved galaxies automatic. (if you have not started the game at last one time, the save folders will not be created. So, start the game first)

    After select the galaxy name, you can change resources and money.

    It will show your home location and your current location.

    If you load a saved galaxy that are played multiplayer, it will only load the player_1.dat file.

    You can make a backup of your galaxy before make any changes.

    The backups are in "C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\Avorion".

    There's a font file included in the zip file, that will make the program font look like avorion font.

    It's a simple editor to change money and resources, show the home sector and current sector.
