I am still learing my way around my server but couldnt you create an event script that posts your message in chat and set it to go off before your server job restarts the game server?

Does anyone know how to reserve player slots? We'd like to open our server to the public but want to be sure admins always have a slot. Thanks!

Mind if I ask who you're hosted with? My buddy is asking to compare with what he currently has, I think his is running on openvz or something.

My buddy just informed me he's got a VPS as well. Any idea how well this will run on a virtualized environment with enough resources?

Hey All, So am thinking about firing up a server for myself and a few friends but cant find the answers to a few questions: - What is the recommended specs for the server? Since I don't see anything posted I assume same as client? I dont have a server box atm but Ive got a killer laptop I rarely use. 16gb memory, i7 3ghz CPU, SSD. Wondering if I might fire up a server on the laptop for use to play. - What kind of bandwidth utilization do you see per host connected? My home connection is 150/3 with like a 300gb data cap. Just wondering if I might be concerned with going over with 3 -5 people connected from the internet. I control most of the bandwidth usage but just need to know where it will leave me for other things. - May main idea is for this to be a friends only server. I assume I can start and stop the server and retrain anything we've done in it right? Not going to be creating new worlds every time I start? I want to be able to fire it up when we play and shut it down when we're not since Ill be running it from my laptop. Thoughts? Thanks you for any help you can provide.

So just picked up the game last night, impressive for such a small client and early access release. So I was trying to build a ship last night, opened up the button for all the blocks (the one to the far right of the block bar when in build mode). Noticed I would choose edges and slates etc. So I wanted to make a some what arrow dynamic front of my ship but I could not figure out how to flip the block vertically. I have the resizing down pat, found I could hit X to flip horizontally but could not figure out how to flip vertically. I am sure this is probably something stupid but I also noticed the wiki doesn't have any information on the controls for building. Is this material somewhere I am missing? Ship got blown up by pirates while I was building it hahaha 10/10 cant wait to play again.
