You know you could just use the jump system on your ship to travel wherever you want? I hardly ever use the gates unless there is one right near where i am. I have used the wormholes, had one take my from one side of the map to the other also if you equip a radar system upgrade you will see yellow blip sectors that usually have something interesting in them

OK so I built a mine on an astoroid, added in a bit of a base and a hanger. Then I went and brought some mining ships and brought them back. How do I transfer them from my ship to my station? They don't show up in the transfer cargo section, I was able to transfer the pilots I hired and some materials but can't find how to transfer fighters. Also the transfer sceen needs some improvement, can only transfer a single unit per click? and the text on the crew doesnt show their level etc. From my ship menu I tried dragging a fighter and dropping it on the cargo tab of my ship, the fighter disapeared from the fighter tab but it doesnt show in the cargo tab, so its just magically disapeared. any one get this to work???
