Thank you, that was indeed the case. He installed a mod to test out on single player and it also updated his server with it.

I was in my friends server and couldn't warp nor bring up the menu to leave game(shortly after warping to a system). I could still shoot weapons/fly around the empty sector. I end tasked the game which resulted in the server still thinking there is a player(me) in it. I can connect to the server but it will never load in and shows 1/10 players. When he gets on he'll restart and that will probably(hopefully) make it so I can load in again, I just hope my ship wasn't considered "active" so pirates/xsotan spawn and kill me. I'll try to reproduce it with end tasking a few different ways when I can load into the server. (Extra details)When I initially couldn't warp I thought it was server lag and waited but another person at the time wasn't lagging and it didn't resolve after waiting for 5min. Then I went to exit but esc wouldn't bring up the menu resulting in me going to task manager to close the game. I may have been preemptive in posting this since I can't look at the server logs and haven't resolved it yet as the server host is offline.

I also cannot warp with a ship that easily fits through the warpgate, is it based on volume instead the physical shape of the ship? Can warp with drone. I upgraded to 10 slots then couldn't warp, so I dropped it back to my previous version that could warp(previously) but still can not use the warpgates. EDIT: Figured it out, still had a couple armor pieces on the back that made my length too much. It seems that at a certain length a ship no longer is warpable, even if other dimensions fit well.

Turn off bloom in the graphics settings, then even if you miss some they won't be brighter than the sun.

If you turn off bloom in the graphics options the blinding light goes away.

You can put armor plating directly on a thruster and not lose any function from it. I'm unsure of the the thickness that will obstruct them(if any), but I have a large front thruster covered in several meters of armor that still functions exactly the same as if no armor is there(minus the lost thrust due to tonnage).

Is there a way to quickly switch between ships in different sectors? Instead of having to jump as a drone/some other ship inorder to use certain ships. Currently, I have a higher tier of material ship and flew back to the home system to play with a friend that just started. To play with him I built a new ship that's less advanced after returning to the home system, but I still wish to go off exploring in my main ship while he's offline. However, to use my newer ship I have to physically make my way back hundreds of sectors from the frontier. So, is there a way to take command of ships without physically transferring in a drone/ship?
