ceeagedee
Hey Community, i searched Pirate Captain Swoks around 3 hours in a distance to the corebetween 430 and 380. Can't find him. Maybe a bug? Someone can help?
thedamngod
You have to search for him in the empty sectors in the distance between 415 and 380. He won't spawn in systems with green or yellow dots on the radar.

thedamngod
You have to calculate the distance from the center of the galaxy using the following formula: distance = squareroot(x2+y2) The two examples you have posted have a distance of 568 and 545. Knightoftzeentch
I have also been having issues with finding swoks. I've found the AI 4 or 5 times, and applying the formula thedamngod (ty btw that is very helpful for those of us who dont math), the AI is spawning in the correct distance from the core for me. Swoks on the other hand, i've searched for 4 hours in empty sectors (no green or yellow dots) without finding him, and just to make sure i went to 0:430 and went 1 by 1 all the way down to 0:380 and still nothing. Edit: if found him at 1:390, still that's a lot of jumps to find him once. Is the wiki wrong in the *after 8 jumps to empty space in his spawn zone, he has a guaranteed chance of spawning*
Warrax
You have to calculate the distance from the center of the galaxy using the following formula: distance = squareroot(x2+y2) The two examples you have posted have a distance of 568 and 545. Hmm, Excel seemed to help calculate this ... I found an explored zone ... I hope to remember to post here again once I find him. Thanx TheDamnGod, cheers. :)
Splutty
Swoks spawns randomly after 1 to 8 jumps into empty space (non-green, non-yellow) in a row.
Warrax
;) Just wanted to confirm for all, the formula damngod posted totally works for calculating distance, and in finding Swoks.
