Similar to my thread about equipment organization, the HdB could act as both a storage system and possibly even a mail system between players. Since it would be a structure, players could pay a fee for having a "vault" that was size dependent on their investment, and/or upgradable with materials. paying a fee to mail materials/modules to other players would also save on time invested on meeting up in space...
