Respawning in starting System

well it seem inteded that if you die you end up in a drone in the starting system. But what if you have another Ship in some other system? is there a way of switching to this vessel without wasting hours with the drone warping to the Position where your craft waits for you?

 

the thing i found most frustrating was: I wasn't killed in a fight i sold my ship to get the money because i didnt need this craft anymore. At least in this case you should be allowed to change to your vessel of choise.
