Make your own turrets

Greetings Avorionias,

 

I hope this will get some attention as it is my first post.

However, as there is a Block that binds the direction of a turret, I was thinking of a method to make your own turret.

What do I miss within the game is something like a joint that regular turrets already have.

So it would be very nice if you could build something like a tower with a muzzle that can turn and aim and go up and down.

 

As I am no programmer I have no idea what efforts it needs to make something like this happen.

So adding a joint that lets you move stuff attached to your ship. Another idea would be let your ship transform and give it a different shape

instead of rebuilding and change the shape permanently.

 

Another very nice thing would be, to be able to just choose and option int he building mode to simply build a turret,

so the feature add clocks thats are specially designed to be used within a weapon, like an engine block will give thrust the

weapon block will give whatever type of weapon it should be.

 

 

I am looking forward for the communities opinion about my idea.
