Hi guys! Vandel here. I've been playing Avorion for the past couple of weeks and have been posting them in Youtube. I've gotten some requests to download my ships. What better way to do it than to share it here in the Avorion forums. I'd love to hear feed back from you guys!

 

Ok let's begin

 

1) Hyperion V2 - An upgrade from an iron tier ship that I built. Let me know if you guys wanna see V1

Note: This was made at the time when you could stack thrusters. If you're still playing that version then this ship is good for you.

 

Upgrading from Hyperion v1:

Material: Naonite and Titanium

2) Sanctum - My recently built capital ship. This was made after the thruster patch.

By the way, these 2 ships are already quite big. Especially Sanctum.

 

Currently, with upgrades, Sanctum has 400,000+ shields. Automatically gives me 100,000 shields when it goes down. Which is insane. To be fair I'm still in Trinium level. Not sure how much damage I'll be taking in higher tiers but Hyperion v2 only had 24k shields with upgrades.

 

As for maneuverability, Sanctum's surprisingly nimble. If you watch my video of me building him. He actually packs a lot of thrusters underneath that armor plating. In my opinion, I may have even added too many thrusters.

I´m in love with your ship designs, they are really refreshing and well made. But the link to Hyperion V2.xml seems to be broken, you can only download a version of the Sanctum there.

 

Keep up the good work, even if your ships might be a bit OP for the Trinium age ;)
