bladeravinger Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Hello guys, i have me a dedicated linux server as i enjoy hosting my own servers, i like to be in control. i installed Avorion half hour ago and tried to connect getting Incoming connection failure: Connection refused: Your version '0.11' does not match the server's version '0.10.2'. as an error client and server side (client side obviously looks a little different) Steam DB says that the server files were updated at the same time as the client file (approx 5 hours ago) i got the update then went to my server and ran steamcmd from command line. i tried this in the past with the same error, anybody know why the server may be installing an outdated version, or why my client thinks it is outdated? i have tried to validate both server and client side and nothing chages any help would be great, thanks [server - Ubuntu 16.04] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Devious Posted March 20, 2017 Share Posted March 20, 2017 It appears the server is not running on the beta branch while your client is. You can update it to the beta branch by adding - beta beta to the installation command. If your server is on beta too it might be something else tho.
