Mazioman
Not sure if this is the place for this as it doesn't have anything to do with scripting, but I've been modding a lot of the sound effects of the game, like weapons and such, and was looking for a specific file that seems to play all the time for me. In my game there seems to be this techno-sounding ambiance that plays all the time. It isn't the engines as it plays even when my ship isn't moving and my Jump Drive is fully charged, it's not an alert from the game telling me that my ship is inadequate, I'm fully crewed and have no red warnings at the top of the screen. It just seems to be a general ambient noise that constantly plays. The point being that since this sound is constantly playing, I would like to mod that sound file to be some bridge ambiance from Star Trek, or something else. TL;DR Does anyone here know the name of the ambient noise that plays in space after you have a fairly large ship?
Sweets714
It's Probably caused by the shield. Avorion\data\sfx\shield_ambient.wav
Mazioman
It's Probably caused by the shield. Avorion\data\sfx\shield_ambient.wav I thought so too, but comparing the shield sound effect and the ones heard in-game yields two distinct sounds that aren't that similar. It seems like there's added technological beeps and whirring sounds that I don't believe are caused by the interface as they play even in dead sectors where my vessel is the only one. Sweets714
Hmm, in that case I don't know. I just checked all the SFX files and can't think of any other ones.
