Server IP

I can not locate my servers IP, I have tried the IPv4 address, as well as the IP I would get from 'whatsmyip'. I also can not get the server to be listed even though both steam authentication and listed arguments are true, and when I boot the server it authenticates. I'll include my system specs as well as the server log just in case.

~edit~ people can join, as long as they join on me through steam, but entering any of the IP addresses I have will just return unreachable, both with and without the :27000 tacked on the end

Looks to me like you are hosting this on your own pc behind a router? Or on a dedicated server?

If you are using a connection with router for the server you need to forward the Avorion ports to the server:

27000 TCP and UDP

27003, 27020, 27021 UDP

Watch Avo wiki for more information.

I hope this can help.

I did all that, I am assuming had I not that my friends could not have connected at all.

For all intent and purposes the server connects and runs fine, and people can connect to it and run it fine. They just can not connect to it themselves via the server browser or Direct IP connections, as I stated I tried both the IPv4 I got from ipconfig, as well as the ip showed to me by the whatsmyip websites, without having to join me through steam. Nor does it show up in the server browser even though it should according to the server settings.

Connecting via steam does not require port forwarding on the router. This seems like wrong port forwarding. Do they see the server as responsive in the direct connection menu?

There is also a quirk with the way that browser works, you need to add a server and restart the game for it to appear properly apparently.
