Warp Gate caused time space wibbly wobblies.

Already reported, but just throwing this bug here because it was particularly strange.

I died trying to go through a warp gate. I didn't collide with it, but I died nonetheless.

Returned, picked up my turrets/upgrades, and noticed no wreckage. Figured that it might have gone to the other side, so i used the gate.

That was where things got weird.

I'm too tired to write up everything, but the video should show you the weird parts.

Skip to 3:32:00 to see the explosion, and 3:51:00 to see the other side of the warp.

EDIT: found out you can do clips:

That video is perfect for seeing what happened, thanks! Although I'm not sure how the ship exploded in the first place. Did you have any antennas or similar stuff on your ship which might have collided with the gate? Your speed was definitely high enough to destroy your ship in case of a collision.

You may have managed to destroy the ship at the exact time when it entered the gate. Due to internal handling of the ship -> wreckage transformation it's possible that the ship was sucked out of the sector at the same time it was destroyed, leaving a wreckage in one sector, and transporting your ship into the other. The wreckage was still drifting and drifted through the gate, which is why you found it drifting on the other side.

Further info, logs say i paid fare before exploding. Is it possible, because there was a captain on board, that two instances of the ship loaded simultaneously and collided, blowing each other up? The captain being available means he could have piloted one of the instances over the gate in case he was on the wrong side.

Client side, I'm fairly sure my trajectory was ok for gating.
