SD619
Hi Everyone, facing an issue with the game crashing due to a "Video Driver Issue" as it reports from the crash error, and asks me to update my driver or contact the GPU manufacture. It will sometimes even crash without an error, just highlighting the game app in the event logs with event ID 1000. My video drivers are on the latest, I rolling back to the previous version with it still crashing again. Game was running fine for the first day without error, but now I can barely keep the game up for 5 minutes without it crashing. No other game faces any issues running or crashing, so not sure if this is video specific. Things I have tried: Video Driver full cleaning and re-installation MB driver/firmware updates to latest Steam game file integrity check My system is fairly new build running Win 11 23H3 OS 22631.4317 32GB 6400MHz DDR5 Intel i9-14900K Nvidia RTX 3070 - Currently running 565.90 version drivers.. was on 566.03 when I started playing the game Client logs attached. clientlog 2024-10-25 05-41-24.txt serverlog 2024-10-25 05-41-44.txt Edited October 25 by SD619
SD619
Here are the logs for a general crash not reporting a GPU driver issue. This is also following updating back to 566.03 NVidia drivers. serverlog 2024-10-25 08-09-55.txt clientlog 2024-10-25 08-09-05.txt
Boxelware Team Rymaca Posted October 28 Boxelware Team Share Posted October 28 Based on the logs and other information, it is still unclear to us what exactly could be the cause. It would therefore be helpful if you could do the following to help with further diagnosis: First of all, how reliably can you reproduce the crash by just staying in the main menu? Try this with your current driver and see if anything changes: Nvidia Control Panel -> manage 3d settings -> program settings (not global) -> Avorion -> Threaded optimization -> OFF Downgrade your GPU driver to something between >= 466.77 and <
