Rotating parts

Kinda visual improvement proposal. Can we have a block that constantly rotates around some axes so it would be possible to build ship parts with artificial gravity like in science fiction movies?

 

Example:

 

That ring will be rotating constantly so blocks on its edge would have some kind of gravity. Science.

Just imagine how it will affect collision detection. I mean, if this block is not a solid circle.

Pretty sure that devs said that there will be no dynamic parts somewhere on this forum.

Heheheh detaching blocks? That reminds me of Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts n' Bolts. Loved that game, and absolutely adored the Detacher Block. Had so much fun creating wacky vehicles that could detach into flying escape pods and the likes.

 

Yes. Wouldn't mind seeing something like that added into the game. There's nothing quite like roleplaying the classic Saturday morning cartoon villain character when your ship is about to explode, hitting the escape button and flying off in a tiny, agile speeder, leaving the rest of your horrible sluggish ship and crew to be destroyed by your assailants. :P

 

Also, imagine using it as a weapon: fly-by attacks by detaching huge chunks of Armour Blocks right as you pass over the enemy. Hahaha beautiful
