[Commands] - Fix please :)

ID-ASP

Recommended Posts

I met some errors in the commands.

/playerinfo

The command displays only a few players that fit into the chat window.

Scrolling does not work, the chat window is simply moved to the higher level.

This is not possible to learn ID some players, when online above 20 people.

The second problem.

/w "52 - ID"

Player "52" not in logined - I guess so :)

Although the team.

/trade 52 - Works.

/mute 52 ... - Works.

/ban 52 - Works.

/kick 52 - Works.

Please make sure that you can set the ban period :)

/ Ban "4747" 24 - (hours)

You can fix it so that when you enter a comment to the command:

/ kick "Player" Reason: ...

You could use spaces, otherwise you have to write each word through "_".

You can fix it so that when you enter a comment to the command:

/ kick "Player" Reason: ...

You could use spaces, otherwise you have to write each word through "_".

If the "Reason" argument would require a string, you could fix the not being able to use spaces problem by writing the following:

/kick "Player" "You are a wangrod."

And they would see on their screen:

You have been kicked from this server.

Reason: You are a wangrod.

Thank you, I will definitely try.
Well I'm not sure that's how it actually works, but you asked how you could get around using spaces in a string, and quotation marks is how that is done in programming. But yeah, do try and see if it works already in-game. :)

Yes, the /playerinfo command is a bug, and the /ban time suggestion would make a good addition to the command.

I'm curious: is there a way to set a ban time by directly editing the banlist file on your server's hard disk?

@Shrooblord - Thanks (/ kick) "" - work :)

On account of the / mute command there is one problem.

Mutual time is counted only when the player is online.

This is quite problematic, especially if the mutes were issued for a day, imagine how many days to be online.

I hope GoogleTranslate will cope with this text. :)

Ah. I've seen the reverse instance of this occurring in regards to Missions the player picks up.

There seem to be two timers that the game uses: the game's clock and the computer's system time clock. Both are used in different places in the game. To illustrate that reverse scenario I mentioned: when you pick up a mission with a 30 minute time-out, leave the game for 20 minutes and come back, you will see that you now only have 10 minutes to complete the mission, even though you haven't actually spent 20 minutes of time in-game; rather, the Mission timers seem to be calculated off of the computer system time.

The problem you describe is, essentially, the reverse, where you'd expect that the time specified by the /mute command is measured using the system time, but is rather using the in-game clock.

Yes, being muted for 24 hours of in-game time is quite a punishment! Can you imagine being muted for a week??
