Mining : catching the floating parts is annoying

Hello,

 

After mining, i have to fly around to catch all the small floating parts. I really don't like it, in my opinion it adds no fun at all, and the mined material should be automatically added to my cargo instead while i'm mining. This or make the "magnet" effect at least 10 times stronger.

 

Any one else agree ?

In part I have to agree with you, an increase in range for automatic gather would be nice, maybe could be upgradable, so it would keep the difficulty to some level.

I've just tried a solution where mined resources insta-lock on to the ship that mined them, and I have to agree, it feels a lot better.

Necro, but can we extend this to loot, ore and money from killed ships?

Can we do this but make it a module :P

I feel it's not yet enough actually, i still have to catch several "gems" each time, it adds nothing "fun" to the gameplay in my opinion.
