Created a new Server keeps installing beta

Hello everyone I am new to the Avorion world. I have a few friends that got me into the game. I wanted to build my own dedicated server I followed the instructions on the wiki, but it keeps installing the Beta version: Avorion server Beta 0.17.1 r11761 4275fbb4f14c running on Windows 8.1+ starting up in "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\galaxies\avorion_galaxy"

I feel this is causing my main issue of the server is not discoverable outside my home network. I have opened the ports on both the server and the firewall. I have multiple other applications working, from my plex server and my mine-craft servers as well as a gmod server. All of which worked fine. I have turned off my windows Firewall on that computer for testing still nothing.

So I am kind of stuck at the moment with this.

Avorion server is a Windows 7 VM

That is the correct version

 

Make sure the ports are opened properly on your router, and that you set it to be public and available in steam in the settings file.
