Invisible mouse cursor

My mouse cursor is invisible when playing in fullscreen/borderless. 

Things I've tried:

- https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php?topic=1771.0 (this only worked for a little while but when I restarted the game cursor went invis again)

- Restarted computer

- Reinstalling and deleting avorion folder in roaming

- Disconnecting other monitors except main

- Trying other mice

- Verifying integrity of game files

- Reinstalling to another drive

- Changing resolution

- Updating nvidia drivers

- Reinstalling nvidia drivers (clean install)

- Tried running as admin but just get "failed to initialize steam API"

- Unsubscribing from workshop content

 

This only happens in avorion

You play with resolution 3440 x 1440. Can you reproduce this when playing full HD (1920 x 1080)? Did you update to latest display driver?
