Golias
Dear Avorions I am a contributor of mods of highly moddable games like M&B and Arma 3 (https://github.com/LordGolias), and after a short development time, I would like to present to you a experimental version of Avorion Mod Manager, a (currently command-line only) tool to manage Avorion mods, https://modlab.eu The current situations that the tool covers: Install and uninstall multiple mods concurrently List installed mods Support custom mod installation through manual changes in code Support mod installation through patches (e.g. for inter-dependent mods) Other features that I aim to cover: Be able to easily migrate installed mods to new releases of Avorion Be able to have different profiles with different mod sets and easily change between them Be able to export the mod set *exactly*, so that it can be distributed between different players Be able to check if a mod is compatible with existing mod set This is because these require an extra service, an online mod repository, to upload/download mods, as well as a standard metadata format and patch format for them. This tool is currently under development and it is considered experimental because it is not obvious that it is the correct design approach to solve the problem. 0PT1K5
Has anyone else tried this? would it work on any version as its just looking at the text files and "patching"?
