NPC Ship Folder

I haven't seen this wile browsing through the forms, but as I am new to the forms I may have missed it, so apologies if this has been suggested already.

 

What I am suggesting is a folder that players can place player made ship files. The NPC factions would then randomly pull from these ships. A little more advanced version of this would be making it so that you would place a folder with one or more ships in it. Then providing you had several of these folders the NPC factions would randomly select one and use the ships in that folder for their faction.

Right now there's no official way to do that, but someone wrote a mod that gives NPC station and ships predefined player models. The mods name is Avorion Multiverse, you should be able to find it in the mods section here. No promises for it working, though, we introduced a few changes to the modding API a short while ago, they might have broken it.
