Dedicated Server - Server hangs related to build mode?

Tested hosting: at both low.ms and citadel.  Players: 1-2.  We're currently sticking with citadel, but on both hosts Avorion has some troubles with hanging when someone is in build mode.  When this happens, of course, all actions stop, no building, no mining, no purchases etc.  This even happens with just 1 player.  It feels like if the server has been running for an hour, if we do something in build mode there might be a 50/50 chance of server hang.  Once that happens, the below shows up in serverlog and then repeats with out end.  The server has to be restarted and probably the last 5 minutes of play are lost.

Anyway, is this a common issue?  We're looking for any advice to make this thing stable.  We've been tempted to just host it on our own hardware, and see if things remain the same.

We've had a number of hangs today.  Doesn't appear they were build related.  One player with one ship salvaging in a different sector.

 

Honest question.  Is it possible to have a dedicated server of Avorion and not get constant crashes every day?
