I must say the the game seems really impressive. The space looks really great and the music is very good. Still after a few hours of playing I have to say there are a few things I'd like to see changed.
- Pirate strength: I encounter several pirates. And died twice. The first time my ship was very weak. The second time my ship was much better and I could encounter pirates even on a 1vs1 basis without taking a lot of damage (max 10%). But suddenly there was one pirate that killed me in like 5 seconds. I still have no idea how this could happen.
- Sector structure names: I found a mission to deliver some cargo to another sector. Going there I was told to deliver it to station name XY. I flew to the station but could not deliver my cargo. Why? There where 2 stations with the name and I was at the wrong one. Made it just in time to the right station to deliver the cargo, but that was a bit frustrating.
- Autopilot for the mining drone: please give the mining drone an autopilot option to return to the main ship. Or at least have a keybinding ready to target your own ship. It's quite difficult to find your ship again in the sector, if you are not near (I know you can use G to iterate throug all things, but if there are a lot of ships and stations, that's no fun).
- Available missions: even in systems with 5 stations I could only find one mission. Why are there so few missions? And can you show some more information on where to go for a delivery mission? I think the destination is only given after you accepted the mission.
Apart from this the jump animation could be remade. And maybe improve ship textures. Oh, and make the light sources on a ship dimmable (I put some lights on my ship and had the remove them, because they were to bright). Also would like to see changing the color of the lights. But this are just minor things.
