OmegaX17
Tried starting Avorion today to play, but the command prompt keeps failing to start the game. It worked fine the other night when I last played it. Steam integrity verification showed no issues. I've tried disabling my Avast shields, adding Avorion as an exception, running Steam in administrator mode, and the game in administrator mode as well. Boxelware Team koonschi Posted January 26, 2017 Boxelware Team Share Posted January 26, 2017 Your settings file is broken, delete client.ini and settings.ini in your %appdata%\Avorion folder.
OmegaX17
I've done so, however, the issue is still present. clientlog_Thu_Jan_26_14-32-19_2017.txt
Naggerknife
Last time this happened someone said a reinstall after deleting the INI file fixed it. Try that.
Boxelware Team koonschi Posted January 26, 2017 Boxelware Team Share Posted January 26, 2017 Can you post your settings.ini and client.ini?
OmegaX17
The client.ini didn't generate a new one upon my startup attempt, however, the settings.ini did. Edit: Naggerknife, Just finished trying that solution, no luck sadly. Second Edit: Apparently it was the ips xml file causing the game to not start. However, my ips file was empty when I checked it. Deleting that and letting the program generate a new one seems to have fixed my issue. client.ini settings.ini
