How do i ally an NPC faction?

I want to buy the faction map on the Equipment dock but i need to be allied in order to buy the exceptional one. however i cant find the "propose an alliance" or whatever button. I know it`s in diplomacy, does my relation with the faction need to be at literal max? like 100.000 or do i just need to reach "excellet" at 80.000? Am i just blind?

Yes it has to be max reputation for the "Negotiate Alliance" button to show up.

For me, I got lucky because another faction was attacking the one I was building up reputation with. Since I effectively 'sided' with them, they gave me 'Excellent' status for free.

Du musst die feindliche Schiffe abschießen oder du treibst Handel  oder du kannst in der Diplomatie auch bestechen in dem du Geld anbietest oder Erze.

Natürlich solltest du es vermeiden auf Fraktionsschiffe zu feuern auch solltest du beim andocken nicht die Stadion rammen auch beim Schmuggeln erwischt zu werde gibt  minus Punkte.
