(nop) I test any other Port the Programm use ... they are binded I attached a Picture of my Worldconfig and from the netstat query on this topic. ThunderDodge
Hey JoJoxX, try to open this port range in your firewall: 27000-27003 TCP/UDP Then start your server with following script ( server.bat ): bin\AvorionServer.exe --galaxy-name MyGalaxy --server-name MyServer --admin you --port 27000 --max-players 10 --public 1 --use-steam-networking 1 pause If this don't work, feel free to contact me. Naggerknife
Try adding "--use-steam-networking 0" to your server launcher.

Zyris
Had the same issue. For some reason I had a dedicated server running on my own machine. To check this open the game Go - Multiplayer - Dedicated Server If its running Hit stop, you should be right to join your dedicated server now. ObsceneNameHere
Had same issue, found if I had a redirect, i.e. domain.co to the ip I could connect but when using localhost/globalIP/localIp it gave the same error
Bad_Idea
Having a similar issue myself: Server shows up in the server browser but any attempt in joining it fails. No idea how to fix, help would be appreciated.
Cosian
Probably not much help here but just sharing I had a similar problem when setting up a hosted server with PingPerfect. Initially when adding the server to the browser it would just sit there Refreshing and not show online. Looking at my logs I noted that connection closed error as well. However, somehow PingPerfect fixed it and I believe it was related to using the latest patch ... I think 1/28/2017. The admin was saying something about the new version allowing configuring ports whereas the old version did not. The interesting thing is I still get that closed connection error in my log on server startup but it works and I can connect to it. log excerpt from startup ....
