I always feel a little bad simply salvaging the remains of ships from allies (or even my own defeated ships) when the lights remain flickering. I feel that if we have a teleporter block or crew shuttles, it'd be enjoyable to be able to rescue crew and take them to safety or incorporate them into our own crews. If incorporating them into our crews risks unbalancing things, they could simply demandf to be transfered to the nearest friendly station and gain you some positive standing with that faction.
