This will make the requirements easier to understand (volume requirement uses k and ship info shows it using e number), also the volume is not shown while in build mode. 0 Ranakastrasz Posted January 28, 2017 Share Posted January 28, 2017 Using mass is probably a bad idea. Mass of materials and components vary a lot, and it would be too easy to manpulate. The Interface can be changed to show volume in both places, and the Building interface can have volume added. No reason to change the mechanics unless it is actually a problem. For my argument, as someone with access to all material tiers, I prefer building with Trinium (the lightest material) when I don't specifically need another material, to keep mass down as much as I can.
