Connection to :27000 failed: server unreachable.

Using Steam cmd server.. Reran update just incase update was not complete.

We were playing the whole weekend no issues, stopped to update when steam announced the patch a few minutes ago and now all three of us can't connect to our dedicated server.

Rebooted Server.

Rebooted client

Tried a complete wipe of the server (empty server folder with just the server.ini in it.)

just incase and same issue. (Server files backed up so we can go back to our meger ships.)

No other changes on hardware.

Any help to resolve this.

WE ARE ADDICTED.. WE NEED TO GET BACK ON.. ;)

Love this game so far.

Update

All three of us tried on to get on the official servers and had the same port 27000 error.

Three different internet connections, Ottawa, Kanata, and Peterborough Canada.

So geographically about 500 Km apart.

Server info.

Vanila. No Mods

Default Server Ini with the exception of name nad server info.

Ports are forwarded and have been working fine all weekend.

27000, 27021, 27020, 27003  Just off the top.  Like I said, Working all weekend no issues on and off for the three of us since Friday.  We update with this last patch and the above error.

Another Update

The Server is in my basement, so I chose LAN instead of IP and it connects no problem.

We are in the process of setting up and connecting to TeamViewer with the other two and creating a VPN and then trying to connect.

So I am in.  but it is dead to the outside world.

I hear your pain.....
