Cannot connect to a dedicated server

Hi there! I'm trying to connect to a server(Ubuntu 22.04, created using this guide https://avorion.fandom.com/wiki/Setting_up_a_server) but the game shows "Connection failed: server unreachable."
Server logs are

OnP2PSessionRequest from <SteamID>
STEAMPS3 - AsyncTCPSocket created
STEAMPS3 - AsyncTCPSocket created
Client <SteamID> lost connection
STEAMPS3 - AsncTCPSocket destroyed
STEAMPS3 - AsncTCPSocket destroyed
Ending authentication session of <SteamID>

No errors during installation process. Am I missing something?

Same, I have the dedicated server running Ubuntu 22.04 - fresh install.   I cannot see the game on my Win10 PC.

These two boxes are currently on the LAN.  However, I have outside connections I want to make.

Also, I cannot seem to find how to include a password on the dedicated server.

I have been over the provided reference material, and not finding a working solution.
