  1. Personally id like to see a replace color option in the build menu... its an unholy PAIN IN THE BUTT to change block color on anything but the smallest of ships.
  2. This is a good idea ... though instead of basing off upgrade slots, base turret slots off volume. roughly speaking , say a ship at 150 mill M3 would get you with out modules 25 arbitrary slots (just an example number).
  3. Suggestion , make the computer processor core blocks a requirement for these ....
  4. while others have posted similar about scaling the turrets , i'd like to see the same , though only sizing nothing with stats. having a corvette sized ship with such miniscule turrets no matte rthe tech level is plain silly .
  5. agree to a point, no need to make new subsystems , just expand the ones there that fit the role ... too often im seeing suggestions to overcomplicate the gameplay which honestly would detract from it`s fun value in my opinion. currently there are things in place that fit what we both have suggested ... no need for more than that really ... plus fighters are already going to get an over haul in the long run ... your suggestion would just add some depth to it which it needs .
  6. yes again i did state there is the f2 to change control configs , however i prefer the mouse controll over it .. it has its uses but i dislike needing to switch back and forth to keep the mothership from moving about when clicking around , and should you forget to when docking , yeah , sudden death or massive loss of relation to the faction for smashing their junk station . not to mention keyboard control is sloppy , clunky and is missing many configuable controls that wsad and mouse has default ...
  7. One thing i thought about when using this mod, if perhaps there was a way to tie salvage fighters and mining fighters to the ranges of equipped mining modules and object detection modules respectively. Making them dependant on the mother ship infrastructure for seeking out wrecks and roids .

Currently its right click and hold to free cam leaving any normal mouse movement to steer... after playing extensively ... in small and large 2.9 Mt ships , its just BAD controll sceme .. yes i understandf there is F2 and not the subject for this . Suggestion is to reverse the control. free cam normally with right click and hold for steering .. nothing worse than trying to dock or work with the ship command menu and having your vessel decide it needs to follow the mouse cursor and slam into the station , ship, rock , excettera ... everything else is fine , just that one little complaint .

Make the object detector a requirement for such a function , then radius of auto salvage is dependant on the module ... also highlights wrecks perhaps ... same for mining fighters only use the mining module for them ... adds a bit of configurability and dependance on the `mothership `infrastructure.
  10. Honestly the ops suggestion while understandable is MOOT since everything he asked for it is possible already . DONT OVER LAP YOUR FIELDS .. tested this on big carrier ship incredibley tedious to size and place field blocks for this but it works...badly... but it works) both in combat and flying hell bent for leather through asteroid field ... field covered sections pop non field sections separate the ajoining field and is safe .. ship no boom.
  11. Honestly I agree with the OP, at that point might as well make everything available right from iron =P Which would be junk for game play. if you want to have everything, start a creative game and worry not.
  12. Odd issue. i get that with guns but not salvage beams... biggest issue i see is invisible artifacts from wrecks drawing targeting , but its usually brief ... Agreed though that the turrets of all types shouldnt be prioritizing things beyond their listed ranges or having priority settings on the shift menu .
  13. Agreed salvaging is a bit meh, but i love the idea of noshing on some twisted metal. An idea might be while the Wreck may not have better percentage to ÈhaveÈ drops , what if the drops it WOULD loose when you salvaged it had a much higher chance to be of higher quality or rarity (within the level of tech the wreckage is from of course. No need to get a lvl 40 purple item from a lvl 12 wrecked ship) than the ton of white item drops currently scattered on destruction ...
