  1. You are not able to edit globals and index, as they are binary files. Try rerunning it with the additional option "-t all" (without quotes) and post the log, it might tell us more.

  3. The logs show no error, are you sure they are the correct ones? Is maybe the script itself unstable?

  5. Mh, can you maybe post the logs for that? Just asking because that should have been fixed already on the beta branch. Them disappearing from your player menu is still happening but nothing more than a visible thing. Usually the ships are still there, it just is a matter of finding them again in the last visited sectors. So maybe they did jump and are in that sector? Otherwise the logs might help us further.
  6. I'd say that refers to a safe sector that will not be attacked by pirates, not a shipyard dock :)
  7. Can you please post the complete logs (server and a client log just to be thorough). It might help us figure out which package is causing this, or if it is maybe a connection thing instead of a data stream thing.
  8. You do get a warning if you have no license and start to salvage the wreckages. Did you ignore it? Plus you see by how much your reputation decreases on the right side of your screen. I am against a auto-buy on licenses, as if you are saving up for something that could really hurt you.

  10. Can you please post a screenshot of the English phrases that are not correctly translated? It will make it a lot easier to fix :)

  12. This sounds fun, especially as escape pods for fighter pilots are planned, maybe other crew could be ejected like that, too, so that collecting crew becomes possible.
  13. Avorion is not entirely multithreaded and predominantly uses only one core. The dev wants to improve that, but it has not the highest priority at the moment.
  14. Mirroring by more than one axis at the same time is a very popular demand and will find its way into the game in one of the next updates :) Almost equally the hotkey for strategy mode is very popular, but here the devs are not sure how to proceed. The strategy mode however needs some work anyway and I will mention your suggestion to the dev working on it.
  15. The modding support will increase greatly when the workshop is implemented for Avorion as is planned before final release. Until then you can find lots of help in this forum :)
  16. This sounds like you have some invalid characters in your ships path, however you managed to get them after the ship already existed. Have you tried deleting that ship and making a new one?
  17. The dev is already working on that, no need for you to do anything :)
  18. This issue has been resolved already, is however not yet integrated into the default branch. If you would like, you could opt in on the beta. There are quite a few changes compared to the default branch, so you might want to inform yourself of the features we are currently testing first. Keep in mind, when you started a galaxy in the beta branch it is not possible to convert it back to the default branch. Alternatively you can wait until we release the patches to the default branch.
  19. The server should be the problem here, so please post the serverlog.
  20. You need to additionally delete the index file.
  21. The dev has some hide-function planned. He wants you to be able to hide based on material or type of block. I guess that would solve your issues :)
  22. These are known issues, the devs are working on it!
  23. You might want to try the alternative control method (press F2) that will give you more freedom and make movement independent from camera. The favorite option for turrets has been suggested before and might come :)

  25. That sounds easy enough, how exactly that will be incorporated is not yet clear. The dev said he would like to make all indicator colors at least moddable, if not provide various color schemes.
