  1. Only the mobile turret merchant got them. If you got another mobile one, you need to look for a different one.
  2. You don't need thousands of small thrusters, thats stupid. Just made thin big thrusters, thin at Z-axis for break thrust. And maybe some for Y-axis for sliding left/right.
  3. It depend on the rarity of the detector. You need to read the description.
  4. My ship got thin layer of thrusters left and ride side, they look like cooling rib's. That give the ship good break trust and acceptable turning/slide ability. Yeah, like someone other mention, i would like to see rotateable engines instead of thrusters. But that would need a complete different calculation for the shipdesignstats. But who knows what the devs plan to improve this.
  5. 1. Nearly all of these wrecks are "faction" ships and i notice these ship got a higher durability then pirate/xsolan ships. Thats why i like to salvage pirate/xsolan primary. 2. If you look for hidden mass system, you will find alot sectors with nearly same amout of wrecks you don't need to pay for.
  6. You just could remove the mining laser and put salvage laser. I don't think that you got more then a few of them, at last less then combat weapons. Or you remove you armed turret for a unarmed turret one geting more slot for your salvage laser. When you replace it again the armed turret system, the salvage turrets become just inactiv. Or add hangar space, get salvage fighter, and the Carrier script from the mod section, release the fighters and let them clean ! :-)
  7. Yes you can, but only one by one. Select the block with the new material. Then "Transform block tool" and click at the block you want transform. But careful, you basicly could transform your Tritanium crew quarter into a Naonite armor.
  8. Maybe, didn't use these system muchs. Mosttimes you can see and identify mineable asteroids on sight better then with these systems. There is a mod which increase the range.
  9. 1. If you need material, mining is much faster. But at last you should shoot/destroy any wrecks to get the chance for an item. If you want more materials use salvager. And salvager are a good close range weapon too if the target don't got shield. 3. Yes mining and salvaging are close range, 2.8 km on a mining laser is allready very large. Most other mining laser you find are below 2 km, salvager below 1 km, 0.75 on default. 4. -Kill pirates/Xsolan in faction systems. -Find claimable asteroids, claim and sell them to the faction, object detection system helps. - Sell/buy modules/system from equipment station, you can do that earlyer than buy/sell goods. - Sell/buy goods, but that allready need good standing. 5. yes 6. -More mass -Hyperspace core, Naonite material at first. - Quantum hyperspace (?) system.
  10. At the beginning you are right, nearly any little collision break anything from your ship. The only solution is to build stone or armor with high durability at these critical places of your ship. Another thing is not to place many small block, try to build just 1 big block of that kind. Thruster are the exception. Later you can build integry field. At this way the damage get spread over the whole ship. You still can loose your ship but not from any small chunk anymore.
  11. It is possible to toggle this feature via menu ? Sometimes it is useful, sometimes not like you you salvage self a big wreck while you release your fighter on cloud of wrecks.
  12. I don't know the code. But from my gameplay expierence i don't notice an increased item drop with salvage laser. The main bonus are you are geting more material out of the wreck.
  13. - Place a new block with the size you want. - Select, the new block, and focus on him. - Disable safe mode, and delete the old root block.
  14. - The dockrange is ok, docking means touchrange ! :-) Made your ship more agile ! - But if you still want larger dockrange, check the mod section.
  15. From my expierence, when you appear in another ship and not the drone, the other ship got destroyed.
  16. Ohh you poor frustrated player. If you would read the forum a bit more, before you report your frustration, you would see your old ships should all be there you just need to move to their last position and enter them. The problem is just to find them. I got many server crashes too, and i got all my ships back.
  17. What is the big benefict, these 0.3 km arn't a big deal except you got a station without dock-module.
  18. Let me gues, you can't made it possible to select the kind of material get highlight ? Can you add a techlevel like weapons got ? Then when you research this kind of module in an Iron area, you will get a module with Iron. Because of the low techlevel of the research station. I notice this effect with weapons allready. The rarity of the module modify the amout of asteroids and range. If this is possible, then you can have a set of modules one for each material you like to mine.
  19. The ship only appear at the Fleet window, when the sector is currently explored. When you was at unexplored space before to find new things, you need to find the ship again. But only to radar range.
  20. These salvage fields when you need to pay for the license arn't worth the money. Just salvage the pirates/Xsolan they enter the sector, if you don't wan't/can't fight them, let the the sectur guard take care of them. Normaly when you just salvage them, the next wave will spawn. Neverending work. If you are just behind modules, shoot the wrecks together with the salvage laser.
  21. Hmm, when you are able to buy titanium, you should be able to find these asteroids at the belts too. Try to find a mining belt, use the map and watch for blips not connected with lines, or when you got a radar enhancer look for the other kind of the blips on the map.
