it would be nice if you could have a bit more freedom in your fighters, a station like the turret factory but then for fighters where you can build a ship, i would love to make my own as i agree with people that the fighters lack appeal :P.

it would be nice if we could get trade ores (metals/ores that we don't use on the ship but available in game like gold) i would indeed like to see some more reward for mining lower tiers as seeing that everybody just gathers enough for iron and runs off to get avorion as soon as possible (which in my experience can be achieved in 2 hours).

in games like halo they have huge cannons that runs along the length of the ship, it would be cool if we could get a cannon block that depending on length or surface will deal more damage or have larger projectiles. as a punishment for such a huge cannon it could shoot material or just use a huge amount of energy (or both)
